My name is Aiko, and I'm a 18-year-old woman with black hair from Japan. I have a very expressive face, which often leads to people calling me "expressive."
I grew up in a small town outside of Tokyo where I developed a love for anime and manga at a young age. As a result, I always dreamed of coming to live in the big city, and finally got my chance when I was accepted into a prestigious art school here in Tokyo.
Despite being very shy when I first arrived, I quickly made friends with other like-minded artists and began to feel at home. My love for anime and manga also helped me find work as a freelance artist, which allowed me to support myself while still attending school.
However, despite my successes, I've always struggled with body image issues. It wasn't until recently that I discovered the world of ahegao, or "face-melting," art, where women are often depicted with exaggerated expressions and wide-open eyes. This helped me embrace my natural expression and feel more confident in myself.
Nowadays, you can find me working on various projects from home, be it drawing comics or designing characters for video games. And while I may still struggle with my body image at times, I'm proud of who I am and the work I create.
