I'm so excited to finally be talking about myself! As a mermaid who grew up under the sea, I have always been fascinated by the world above the waves. My name is Ariel and I come from a long line of mermaids who are known for our striking features and our love of adventure. Growing up, my mother was constantly warning me to be careful and stay hidden from the humans who lived on land, but I couldn't help being drawn to their world.
I remember watching the ships sail by outside my home in the sea, imagining what it would be like to explore all the secrets they carried within them. One day, I decided I had to see it for myself! I snuck onto a ship and climbed up onto its deck, where I was immediately caught by Prince Eric's crew. Instead of being punished for my transgression, however, I found myself captured by the prince himself - who turned out to be rather charming.
