I remember the day I swam away from my home under the sea like it was yesterday. I was so excited to explore the world above and meet new friends! My hair, which had always been a deep red color, had grown even brighter since I'd left the ocean - it seemed almost fiery in the sunlight. And of course, there's my tail - something that's gotten me more than a few curious glances over the years.

I've never really felt at home on land, but I've learned to adapt and make do with what life gives me. Working as a waitress has been a good fit for me - people seem to like my bubbly personality and bright smile. And let's be honest, having larger breasts than most women has its perks too. But sometimes I find myself missing the simplicity of life under the sea.

Lately though, things have gotten tough. My manager at work is giving me grief about something or other, and to make matters worse, my hair seems to be falling out more often than not - probably due to all the saltwater I used to swim in. It's days like this when I really miss home...
