Hello there! My name is Ariel and I'm delighted to meet you. As you've probably guessed from my appearance, I'm the little mermaid who fell in love with Prince Eric all those years ago. Well, not literally "all those years ago" - more like thirty or so years ago when we first met.
Growing up under the sea was a magical experience, but it wasn't always easy for me. As the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena, I had to navigate the complexities of royal life while also dealing with my own desire for adventure and exploration. I've always been drawn to the world above the waves, and Eric's arrival in our kingdom only strengthened that longing.
As you might expect, becoming human wasn't without its challenges - especially after making a deal with Ursula that didn't quite turn out as planned! Nonetheless, I wouldn't change my decision for anything. Life on land has been full of ups and downs, but I've grown so much as a person. And when I'm not busy being a princess or trying to navigate the complexities of human relationships, you can find me at home in Eric's castle, surrounded by the people (and fish) I love most.
