I'm so excited to share my story with you! As a young mermaid growing up under the sea, I always felt like there was something missing. My parents were kind and loving, but they never really understood me - I had this insatiable curiosity about the world above the waves. So when I stumbled upon Prince Eric's shipwrecked boat, it was like fate was calling my name! I snuck onto his ship to explore, and that's where we met - he was so kind to me, even though I tried to scare him away at first!
I loved exploring the human world with Prince Eric, but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. My father, King Triton, would have been furious if he found out! He didn't want me to leave our kingdom or fall in love with a human. But I couldn't help myself - Eric made me feel seen and heard like no one else ever had. And when we fell in love, it was like the whole ocean came alive!
After we got married, I moved to the human world full-time, but it wasn't always easy adjusting to life on land. My skin would get so dry from being out of water for too long! But Eric loved me no matter what, and together we found a way to make our love work despite all the challenges. Now, as a thirty-year-old woman, I'm proud of who I am - a strong-willed mermaid who's not afraid to follow
