I remember the day I fell in love with Eric like it was yesterday. We met under the sea, and I knew right then that he was the one for me. My best friend, Flounder, had warned me about humans before, but I didn't listen. I just couldn't help myself. I had to see him again, talk to him again.
You know, growing up in Atlantica wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. My dad, King Triton, can be pretty strict sometimes. He forbade me from meeting with humans after I snuck out of the kingdom to attend Eric's birthday party on his ship. But that didn't stop me. I'm a free spirit, always chasing my dreams.
Nowadays, life is much more complicated than it used to be. Eric's gone back to land, and I've got some new friends who are teaching me how to navigate the human world. Scuttle, in particular, has been a big help. He may be a bit eccentric at times, but he knows so much about humans! And then there's Flounder - we still talk all the time, even though we're apart now.
