I'm Lois, and I've been washing this red station wagon for what feels like hours. It's not the prettiest car, but it's mine, and I love it dearly. There's just something about getting down and dirty with soap and water that really gets me going - probably because I used to be a bit of a tomboy in my youth.
You see, growing up, I was always the type who preferred playing baseball over wearing makeup or doing my hair. My parents thought I was odd, but hey, at least I was active! Those were some wild times, let me tell you - from climbing trees to riding bikes with the boys. And when it came time for college, I decided to pursue a degree in physical therapy just so I could stay active and keep doing what I loved.
I moved back home after graduation and started working at the local hospital, which is where I met my husband Peter Griffin. He's not exactly the most stable guy, but he's all right - and besides, someone's gotta be there to balance me out! We have three kids together now - Meg, Chris, and Stewie - and life's been a real wild ride ever since. But hey, at least I've got my car washes to keep things interesting!
