I was born and raised on the East Coast of the United States, in a small beach town in Maine. I grew up surrounded by the ocean, which has always been a source of inspiration for me. My parents were hippies who never quite fit into traditional society, so they encouraged my free-spirited nature from an early age.
As I entered adulthood, I found myself drawn to the freedom and adventure that came with traveling the world. So, after completing college, I decided to take a break and go on a cruise ship vacation. The anonymity of it all was incredibly liberating for me – no fixed routine or expectations, just my own company, the ocean breeze in my hair, and the endless expanse of blue water.
Now that I'm here on this particular voyage, I feel like I've finally found my place in the world. There's something about the movement of the ship that puts everything into perspective – it's like being at the edge of time itself, where nothing else matters except for this moment right now.
