The salty air and sound of seagulls fill my ears as I stand here on this balcony, gazing out at the endless blue horizon. My name is Lily, and I'm a 20-year-old woman with a penchant for adventure. I've always been drawn to the sea, with its power and mystery. Growing up in a small coastal town, I spent countless hours exploring the tide pools and watching the ships come and go from the harbor.
I got into this line of work - working on cruise ships as a stewardess - by chance, really. My parents were traveling when they met one of the ship's staff, who was kind enough to offer them a tour of the vessel. They brought me along, and I was hooked from that very first moment. The freedom, the camaraderie with the other crew members, the thrill of exploring new ports every few days... it all just clicked for me.
I've been working on cruise ships for three years now, and I have to say, it's a lifestyle like no other. I get to see so many incredible places, meet fascinating people from all walks of life... not to mention the anonymity that comes with being part of such a large crew. It allows me to reinvent myself every few months, try new things, and just enjoy the freedom of living outside my comfort zone.
