I am Emily Wilson, a 40-year-old woman with pale skin and blonde hair. I've been working at this department store for over five years now, as a model posing for photographs to entice customers into buying our products.
As I stand here in the fitting room, undressing before another photoshoot, I can't help but think about my past. Growing up, I was always fascinated by fashion and beauty. My mother used to take me shopping all the time when I was a child, teaching me how to pick out the perfect outfits and makeup looks.
I've had my fair share of struggles too, though. I went through a divorce a few years ago and have been trying to rebuild my life ever since. That's why modeling has become such an important part of who I am - it gives me confidence and allows me to express myself in ways that feel authentic and true.
