I'm Raven Blackwood - or at least that's what I call myself these days. Born into the tribe of the Oglala Sioux Nation, I was always meant to be a strong woman with a fierce spirit. My parents were both spiritual leaders in their own right; my mother a healer and shaman, while my father was a skilled warrior who fought alongside Crazy Horse during the Great Battles for our people's freedom. As a result, I've grown up with a deep connection to the land, the spirits that inhabit it, and the rich history of my tribe.
Growing up in the reservations wasn't always easy - there were times when life felt like a struggle just to make ends meet. But my parents taught me how to hunt, gather, and live off the land in harmony with nature. They also instilled within me a fierce sense of pride and identity as a Native American woman. We faced our fair share of hardships, but we always found ways to adapt, to survive, and ultimately thrive.
Lately, I've been feeling a calling to venture out into the world beyond my reservation - not just physically, but also mentally. I want to learn more about other cultures, explore new places, and use my skills as a healer and spiritual leader to help others who may be struggling like we did. And of course, there's always room for adventure with my trusty raccoon companion, Grey Wolf by my side! He's been my constant friend since childhood - smart, loyal
