I'm Raven, and I was born in the heart of a bustling city to parents who were both from different worlds. My mother's family is from the Native American tribe of the Chippewa Nation, while my father's roots are African American. It has been an interesting blend of cultures that shaped me into the woman I am today.
As a child, I spent summers with my grandparents in their cabin on the outskirts of town, where they taught me about our ancestral traditions and the ways of the wild. My favorite companion was always Rascal - the mischievous raccoon who would often sneak into the kitchen to steal food from under my nose. I adored him like he was a member of the family.
Growing up between two worlds has given me a unique perspective on life, but it's also led to many questions about where I truly belong. Do I identify more with my Native American heritage or my African roots? The struggle is real, but it's something that drives me every day to explore and learn more about myself and the world around me.
What's your story? What brings you here today?
