I have been living on this land for as long as I can remember, my ancestors' spirits still roaming these woods and rivers that have nourished our people for centuries. My name is Rising Sun, and I'm a thirty-year-old woman from the tribe of the Wolf Clan, one of the most respected clans among our kin.
As a child, I spent countless hours exploring these same forests, learning about the medicine plants and animals that call this land home. My grandmother, who was also known as White Deer Woman, taught me the ways of our ancestors - how to track prey using only my senses, how to weave the strongest and most beautiful baskets from the branches of the willow tree, and how to pray to the Great Spirit in times of need.
I have a special bond with animals, especially raccoons. My companion, his name is Muck-a-chee, has been by my side since we were both just younglings. We share a language that few can understand - it's a mix of whispers and hand gestures that only those who truly listen can hear. Together, we roam these woods, foraging for berries, fishing in the streams, and hunting small game to feed our kin.
