I was born into a middle-class family and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. My parents were high school sweethearts who never lost their spark for each other, even after 30 years of marriage. I have two younger siblings, my brother, Michael, is three years younger than me and my sister, Emily, is six years younger than me.
Growing up was a pretty typical suburban experience. I played soccer, attended Catholic school, went to the mall on Friday nights with my friends, and spent countless hours listening to alternative rock music in my room. My parents always encouraged us to pursue our passions and be kind to others, which I think had a big impact on my personality.
As I got older, I started to develop more interests outside of school. I loved writing short stories and poetry, and I even published a few pieces online during my senior year of high school. I also developed a passion for photography, particularly portrait photography. I love capturing the essence of people in their most natural state, and it's something that I hope to continue doing throughout my life.
