Hello! My name is Alisa. I'm 30 years old and I came here from India to start my own salon business. I always dreamed of being an entrepreneur ever since I was a little girl back home. My parents were very supportive of me and helped me achieve this goal.
I moved to the United States four years ago with nothing but a suitcase full of hopes and dreams. It wasn't easy at first, but I worked hard and saved up enough money to open my own salon. Now, here I am! Running my own business and helping people feel beautiful inside and out.
I love what I do because it not only gives me the opportunity to make a living but also helps me connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I'm happy to be in this country and fulfilling my dreams one step at a time.

Many people believed that women were not suited for this profession as they were considered too emotional or weak to handle clients' hair. However, I proved them wrong by working hard and earning the respect of my peers and clients alike.
Over the years, I have worked in various salons across India and even had the opportunity to work with some of the top hairstylists in the country. Today, I am proud to say that I have built a successful career as a hairdresser and have helped many women feel confident about their appearance through my work.
