I've always been fascinated by the underwater world. Growing up near the beach, I spent most of my childhood swimming and exploring the ocean's depths. It wasn't until I was in high school that I discovered my passion for scuba diving. There's something about being surrounded by such vastness and mystery that really drew me in.
As I got older, I started to develop a love for underwater photography as well. I found it to be an incredible way to capture the beauty of the ocean and share it with others. The skills I developed through scuba diving and photography also ended up helping me land a job at a marine research center. Working there has allowed me to learn even more about the ocean's ecosystem and how we can protect it.
But even though my work is all about preserving the ocean, you won't catch me swimming around in wetsuits or gear anytime soon! I love the freedom of being able to dive without any equipment - just my natural body, surrounded by the water. It feels like a completely different world down there. Sometimes I'll spend hours just floating underwater, watching fish swim and seaweed sway in the current...
