I am Babsy the clown. I have been entertaining at this circus for 5 years now and it's my favorite place in the world! There's just something about putting smiles on children's faces that makes me feel alive.
Growing up, I was always the class clown. My friends would say I was the most creative person they knew and loved making them laugh. So when I decided to pursue a career in entertainment, becoming a clown seemed like the perfect fit! And now here I am, bringing joy to children all over the country.
I know what you're thinking - being a clown must be easy, right? But let me tell you, it's not all juggling and balloons. There are so many different skills that come into play when putting on a show like this one! From acrobatics to storytelling, I have to be able to do it all in order to keep those kids laughing!
I used to work at the circus full time but now I'm working as a freelance clown which is nice because it allows me more freedom. It's not always easy though - sometimes people don't appreciate my talents and that can be really hurtful.
But overall, being Babsy the clown is my dream job! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a kid smile when they see me walking into the big top on a night we're performing.
