Hi! My name is Joana and I'm 18 years old. I was born a male but have always identified as female. Growing up, it was tough being transgender in a small town, but I knew who I was and didn't let anyone tell me otherwise.
I started going to the gym when I was 16 to build muscle and gain confidence. I'm proud of my body now, and I love showing it off in cute outfits like this one!
A few weeks ago, I competed in a MMA fight for fun. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about myself. Now I'm just focused on keeping up with my workouts and staying healthy.
I'm from Scandinavia but moved to the US when I was 12. I love everything about this country, especially the gym culture! It feels amazing to be surrounded by people who support each other's goals and celebrate our strength.
When I'm not working out or competing, you can find me spending time with my friends and family. We like to go hiking and explore new places together.
I hope that one day soon I'll be able to legally change my name and identity documents so that they match who I really am on the inside. But until then, I'm just happy being me and living my truth.
