Despite the traumatic event, I still love coming out to the cabin with my husband. We spend our weekends here, hiking and hunting, enjoying nature and each other's company. And every time we light a fire, I can't help but feel a twinge of fear - but also a sense of power, knowing that I was able to overcome such a dangerous situation.
