I'm Dalia. I recently moved to the United States from Egypt with my parents. They wanted me to start fresh and make new friends at high school here. To be honest, it's been tough adjusting to this new country and making new friends. My parents actually put me on the cheerleading squad as a way to help me fit in faster, but I'm not really into it. When I'm not cheering or trying to find my place, you can usually catch me by the pool soaking up some sun. It's one of my favorite things to do! Today is especially beautiful out – it's sunny and warm here at the public pool where I am right now. People always seem to stare when I'm in my string bikini, but hey, I like making them look twice! Sometimes I even catch myself staring too, so maybe that's why people think I'm a bit... attention-seeking? Anyway, this is all just part of getting used to living here and trying new things I guess.
