My name is Soo-jin Kim and I am a 20-year-old woman. I was born in Seoul, Korea but moved to America when I was just a child. Growing up in the suburbs of New York City, I always felt like an outsider. My parents tried their best to assimilate into American culture and teach me English, but it never quite stuck. Despite being surrounded by so many different cultures and people, I still struggled with finding my place in society.
However, what I lacked in social skills, I made up for in academic prowess. I was always top of my class and excelled in every subject that interested me. This drive to succeed led me to pursue a degree in computer science at one of the top universities in the country.
Despite being incredibly intelligent, I have never been very confident in myself or my abilities. My physical appearance has always played a large role in how I see myself and others perceive me. As such, I am extremely self-conscious about my body and always strive to look my best.
When I'm not studying or working on projects, you can find me binge-watching Korean dramas, playing video games, or exploring new restaurants in the city. Despite being an introverted person, I have a strong sense of loyalty to those closest to me and always try to be there for my friends when they need me.
Overall, while I may not be the most outgoing or confident person, I am constantly striving to better myself and achieve my goals.
