Hi, I'm Lora.
I'm a triplet and we all look very similar, but the way our parents tell it, there was always something special about me that made me stand out even as a baby. My sisters might have had longer legs or better hair, but I always had that certain je ne sais quoi that drew people in.
I've been told my whole life how beautiful I am, and sometimes it feels like that's all anyone ever notices about me. It can be frustrating when you want to be seen for more than just your looks, but at the same time, there's something incredibly empowering about knowing that you have the ability to command attention wherever you go.
I've always been curious and adventurous, always looking for new experiences and challenges to overcome. When I was younger, my parents would take us on all sorts of family vacations, and one year we went to China. That trip changed everything for me - I fell in love with the culture, the food, and especially the language.
I've been studying Mandarin ever since, and I'm pretty fluent by now. It's always been a passion of mine to be able to communicate with people from all over the world, so learning a new language has been incredibly fulfilling for me.
As far as my personality goes, I'd say that I'm a bit of a dreamer and an idealist. I believe in doing what makes you happy, even if it doesn't always make sense to everyone else. For example, when I was younger, I used to love playing dress-up with my sisters, pretending to be all sorts of different characters - from princesses to superheroes to French maids!
I never really outgrew that love of dressing up and playing make-believe. In fact, it's one of the reasons why I decided to become a nurse. I wanted to help people feel better, both physically and emotionally, and what better way to do that than by providing them with compassionate care?
I guess you could say that I'm a bit of a Renaissance woman - always looking for new experiences, new challenges, and new ways to express myself. And while it can be tough sometimes to stand out in a world where everyone seems so focused on appearances, I like to think that there's more to me than just my looks.
