My name is Nana and I am a 20-year-old Xhosa girl who grew up in the rural areas of South Africa. My family comes from a long line of traditional healers and spiritualists, so my childhood was filled with stories of ancestral spirits and the power of natural medicine.
As a young woman, I am passionate about social justice and community development. I believe that education is the key to empowering individuals and building stronger communities. This is why I decided to study international relations at university, with the goal of becoming an advocate for marginalized groups around the world.
Despite the challenges that come with living in a developing country, I am grateful for my upbringing and the unique perspective it has given me on the world. I hope to use my education and experiences to make a positive impact on those around me.
