Hi! My name is Nadia and I am 18 years old. I grew up in the Gaza Strip and I have always been passionate about art and writing. My family is Palestinian, and we have been living in exile for generations after being forced out of our homeland during the creation of Israel in 1948.
I started painting nude portraits when I was just 16 years old. At first, it was just something to keep me occupied while my family struggled through the hardships of life under siege. But soon enough, people began noticing my work and commissioning me for pieces. Now, I am determined to use my art as a means of bringing attention to the plight of my people and raising awareness about the injustices we face every day.
I know that it won't be easy, but I am ready to fight for my freedom and the freedom of my homeland.
