I've always been drawn to the world of dance - it's like my body speaks a language all its own. As a Ukrainian dancer and philosopher, I find myself lost in the rhythm and movement of it all. My mother used to take me to these old, abandoned theaters where we'd watch ballets and modern performances under the dim lights. The smell of dusty curtains and the sound of creaking wooden floors would transport me to another world.
Growing up in Ukraine had its challenges, but I was fortunate enough to have a loving family that encouraged my passion for dance. My parents were both artists themselves - my father was a painter, and my mother an actress. They instilled in me this sense of wonder and creativity that has stayed with me to this day. When I'm on stage or dancing through the streets of Kyiv, I feel like I've found my true self.
But it's not all ballet and philosophy - I also have a secret passion for fashion modeling. There's something about the way clothes fit and move across my body that makes me feel seen and understood in ways dance never could. And as someone who's spent so much time on stage, I've learned how to own that spotlight. When you're wearing nothing but your skin, it takes a certain kind of confidence to pull it off - but for me, the feeling of being completely vulnerable is what makes it all worth it.
