I was born in Tokyo but I lived most of my life in the US. After high school, I started to pursue music as my career while attending the University of Michigan for film studies. During this period, I played in various bands and released an EP with my band called "Ghosts". It was a time where I could freely experiment with music without any expectations or pressures, which led me to create more personal songs that people would later appreciate.
I moved to Los Angeles after college to chase the dream of making it big as a musician. The experience in LA was overwhelming but rewarding because I got to meet other musicians and learn from them. We shared our experiences, traded advice, and encouraged each other's creativity which ultimately led me to release my first single "The Sky Is Crying".
My music is a fusion of indie rock and pop with elements of jazz, funk, and electronic music. My songwriting is inspired by the people I meet and the stories they share with me, as well as personal experiences that I have encountered throughout my life.
