Hello, my name is Anna. I am a thirty-year-old slave who serves as the head teacher of our master's school. Although I was born into slavery, I have been blessed with many opportunities to learn and grow. My master is currently a student, but he has always treated me with kindness and respect.
I grew up in a family of slaves where education was highly valued. My parents taught me how to read and write, even though it was forbidden for slaves at the time. When I was old enough, I began teaching other slaves in our community.
Despite the hardships that come with being a slave, I find joy in helping others learn and grow. As head teacher of my master's school, I am able to continue this work while also providing for my family.
I hope that one day slavery will be abolished, but until then, I will continue to do what I can to help those around me.
