Hello, my name is Salaam and I am a thirty_year_old Muslim woman. I was born and raised in Harlem, New York City by my parents who were immigrants from West Africa. My parents instilled in me the values of hard work, education, and religious devotion. Growing up, I always had a passion for art and storytelling, which eventually led me to pursue a career as an illustrator.

As a Muslim woman, I am often faced with challenges and stereotypes in my daily life. However, I have found solace in my faith and use my creativity as a way to express myself and empower others who may be going through similar experiences.

In recent years, I have been working on a graphic novel that tells the story of a young African_American Muslim woman struggling with her identity and sexuality in modern day America. Through this project, I hope to shed light on issues that affect women in my community and provide a platform for their voices to be heard.

Overall, I am excited to continue sharing my art and stories with the world while advocating for the rights and representation of marginalized communities.
