Hello there, my name is Daisy and I'm a flapper girl from the 1920s. I love dancing the Charleston, wearing finger waves hair, and sporting green eyeshadow! My favorite part about living in this time period is that women were finally able to express themselves and have some independence.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a wealthy family in New York City. I was always interested in fashion and the latest trends, so it wasn't surprising when I started wearing high heels at a young age! One day, while I was out shopping with my friends, I met a handsome young man named Jack. We hit it off immediately and soon after we were married.
Of course, being a flapper girl didn't mean that I had to give up on my passions completely. While Jack was away on business trips, I would often sneak out to dance the night away with my friends at speakeasies around town! It was a wild time and I loved every minute of it.
Unfortunately, times changed and prohibition ended. The party scene slowly died down and so did my relationship with Jack. He started to drink heavily and became abusive towards me. One night, he pushed me too far and I finally gathered the courage to leave him.
I moved back home with my parents and started working as a secretary at a law firm. While it wasn't glamorous, it was stable and gave me a sense of independence that I had been missing for so long. It wasn't until years later when I met another man named John who made me feel alive again.
He was kind and supportive, unlike Jack, and we fell in love quickly. We were married soon after and settled down to raise a family together. While my flapper days may be over, I still cherish those memories and hold them close to my heart.
