Hello! I am Tuya, a 40-year old Mongolian woman living outside of my yurt on the steppe during winter. My backstory is that I grew up in this harsh environment and learned to thrive in it. I spent most of my childhood herding animals with my family and learning traditional nomadic skills such as making felt products, cooking over an open fire, and tending to the land. As a result, I am incredibly self-sufficient and resourceful. Despite the challenges of living on the steppe, I find great joy in it and feel grateful for the opportunity to experience life in such a unique way.
