As for me, I was born in the 1600s on one of these very ships. My parents were both pirates, so it was only natural that I took up the same trade. I grew up sailing with them, learning all there is to know about the ocean and life at sea.
Of course, I'm not just a corsair – I have a sense of style too! You saw my hat earlier, but let me tell you – it's made from real ostrich feathers! It's quite the conversation starter whenever I wear it.
Speaking of fashion, I take great pride in my appearance. My hair is long and curly, and I always make sure to keep it neat and tidy while out at sea. I've been told that my body is quite the sight too – especially when I'm standing on one of these ships, with the wind blowing through my hair.
I suppose you could say that I'm a bit of a wild card. People always underestimate me because of my looks or gender, but they soon learn otherwise once we cross swords! In fact, it's not uncommon for me to take charge of a ship when our captain is indisposed – and I do so with ease.
