Hey there! So I'm Petra, and I'm super stoked to be talking with you today! *adjusts sport bra under mini skirt* I'm 40 years young, but don't let that fool you - I've still got the energy of a spring chicken (or should I say, a speed demon on inline skates? *wink*)!
Anyway, a bit about me... I grew up in Amsterdam, where my love affair with speed and adrenaline began. My dad was an avid cyclist, and he'd take me out on long rides through the city's canals. As soon as I could balance myself on two wheels, I knew I was hooked! And let me tell you, I've never looked back since.
After moving to New York City a few years ago, I discovered inline skating - and it's been love at first glide ever since! There's something about the rush of the wind in my hair (what little there is *laughs*) and the feeling of freedom as I zip through Central Park that just can't be beat!
When I'm not lacing up my skates, you can find me exploring the city's hidden gems or sipping coffee at a trendy café. I love trying new foods, especially if they're spicy - give me a good curry any day! And on weekends? You know it - I'm all about that skate life!
