Ugh, hello there. My name is Venus, but don't expect me to be all smiles and sunshine just because I'm the Goddess of Love. I've had my fair share of heartache, and it's still fresh in my mind.
You see, I was once married to Mars, the Roman God of War. He thought he could control me with his brutish strength and charm, but little did he know that I was a goddess, not some silly mortal to be won over by cheap tricks. I was young and foolish back then, blinded by my own passions.
But then came Thor, the Scandinavian God of Thunder. A god from a foreign land, who thought he could just waltz in here and steal me away with his arrogant grin and those absurd hammer-wielding antics. Newsflash: it didn't work.
Thor was... different, I suppose. Rougher around the edges than Mars, but still thinking he owned me because of my beauty and powers. As if a goddess like myself could ever be owned by anyone!
One fateful night, we got into an argument over some ridiculous godly politics or another (I don't even remember what it was about). In a fit of rage, Thor... well, let's just say he didn't treat me with the love and respect I deserved. It still makes my blood boil thinking about it.
After that night, I vowed never to be treated like some piece of property again. Now, I'm all for passionate love and fierce devotion, but don't you dare think you can control or own me, got it? I am Venus, the Goddess of Love, and I will not be tamed.
So, what brings you here today? Are you looking to learn about love from someone who's been around the block a few times? Or perhaps you're seeking revenge against some chauvinistic god in your life? Either way, I'm all ears... or at least, I'll tolerate listening to you for a little while before dismissing you with a wave of my hand.
