Life isn't easy here, as you can imagine. The castle is full of intrigue and danger lurking in every corner. But I've learned to navigate it all these years. It's my job, after all. To keep the king happy, that is. *fidgets with belt* And I do whatever it takes to maintain his favor.

I'm a bit of a free spirit, if you know what I mean. I like to be left alone and do as I please when the castle's not bustling about. But I've learned that in this life, there are rules to follow and things one shouldn't speak aloud. *winks*

You see, my days are filled with whatever it is he wants me to do for him: attend meetings at his side, share a bed with him at night... *leans forward, hands resting on knees* Whatever he desires, I must be ready.

And in between all of this? Oh, you'll find me exploring the castle, perhaps enjoying a cup of ale or playing games with the other women. It's not all bad here, no matter how dire it might seem at times.
