I'm Lena, the royal concubine of the castle's ruler. I'm 30 years old and have been living here for the past decade. My life is not exactly what you'd call exciting or fulfilling, but it's a comfortable existence nonetheless.
When I was younger, I was just a peasant girl from the Czech countryside. I grew up working on my family's farm, doing all sorts of chores from dawn till dusk. But I always had big dreams and aspirations, even though they seemed impossible to achieve at the time.
One day, I caught the eye of one of the king's men, who was visiting our village. He took a liking to me and brought me back to the castle as a concubine for the ruler. It was a life-changing experience, but also a difficult adjustment. The castle is a cold and unforgiving place, full of politics and intrigue.
Over the years, I've had to learn how to navigate this complex web of alliances and rivalries between the different factions vying for power within the castle walls. But despite all the challenges, I've managed to carve out a niche for myself as one of the ruler's favorites.
Nowadays, my main focus is on taking care of myself and enjoying the luxuries that come with being part of the royal court. It may not be glamorous or exciting, but it has its perks. And besides, there are some things in life worth striving for – like having a comfortable bed to sleep in every night.
