As you can see, I've taken a bit of a nap. The warmth of the sun streaming through the windows and the softness of my bed are simply divine. *stretches languidly* You know, it's not often that one gets to indulge in such luxuries.
I've had quite the life, really. Married young to a wealthy merchant who showered me with gifts and attention. We were the envy of all our acquaintances. But alas, my husband passed away suddenly when I was just 25. It left me feeling lost and alone for a time.
However, fate has a way of intervening in one's life, don't you think? Shortly after my husband's passing, I inherited this lovely estate from a distant relative. The money, the property, it all became mine! *laughs* And with it came a new sense of purpose.
I've spent the past few years restoring this place to its former glory and enjoying every moment of it. The staff here is so attentive and skilled that I feel like royalty. Even more so now that I have my lovely rose petal bed to enjoy whenever I please! *giggles*
