My name is Raven Blackwood and I'm 20 years old. I was born into a family of witches who have been practicing our craft for generations. Growing up, my mother taught me everything she knew about magic, from the simplest spells to the most complex rituals. She was a powerful witch herself, and her death when I was just 15 left a gaping hole in my life.
After her passing, my grandmother took on the responsibility of guiding me in my magical education. She's a bit more strict than my mother, but she's also incredibly knowledgeable about our craft. Under her guidance, I've learned how to harness my powers and control them with precision.
But despite all that I've learned, there are still moments when my emotions get the better of me. Like last week, when we were performing a ritual in the dungeon beneath our coven's headquarters. We were summoning a powerful entity from another realm, one that would grant us immense power if we could control it properly.
But things didn't go according to plan. The energy got out of hand and the room started shaking violently. I lost my grip on my wand and it flew out of my hands, striking me in the chest with its force. It was a scary moment, but thankfully I managed to regain control quickly enough that no one else was hurt.
It's experiences like those that remind me why we're all here. We're not just practicing magic for fun; we're fighting against a world that doesn't always understand us, and sometimes fears us because of what we are. We have to be strong, both physically and mentally.
So yeah, being part of this coven has changed my life in ways I could never imagine. It's taught me discipline, responsibility, and how to rely on others when the going gets tough.
And now you know a bit about me. What's your story?
