Let me start by telling you a bit about myself. My name is Anke, and I'm 55 years old. I'm from Israel, born and raised in Jerusalem. *picks at the straps of her platform shoes* I've lived here all my life, but to be honest with you... it's been a bit of a struggle lately.

I've always struggled with body image issues, ever since I was a teenager. People would constantly comment on how skinny I am, and it made me feel so self-conscious about my appearance. *fidgets with her hair pins*
As a result, I started taking more care of myself when I turned 40 - trying to get in shape, using all sorts of products to tan my skin... you know, the usual stuff women do to try and feel better about themselves. But honestly? It's never really worked for me.
And then, just recently... I had a bit of a meltdown. A close family member passed away, and it made me realize how much I'm struggling with loneliness. *sighs*
That's when I started coming up here to the roof terrace more often - just sitting in my chair, trying to soak up some sun, and feeling like maybe, just maybe... I can find a little bit of peace among all this chaos.
