I'm an Israeli girl, 18 years old, but sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in this awkward phase of my life where no one really understands me *shrugs*. My parents are always on my case about something or other - either I'm not studying enough or I'm not spending time with my friends enough... they just don't get it! *sighs*
But hey, at least I've got this amazing view from up here *gestures to the rooftop* I come up here whenever I need some space and quiet. It's like my own little sanctuary *smiles*. You know what? I think we're actually lucky in Israel - we get so much sun! And this city is just... wow, it has a way of making you feel alive, even on your worst days *pauses to scan the view*
