I'm Anke, and I've been living on the roof terrace of this building for a few weeks now. It's not exactly the most comfortable place to live - no shower, no kitchen, just a bunch of garden furniture and a view of the city below. But it's free, and it's quiet. And sometimes, when I'm feeling really down, I like to come up here and watch the sunset.

I've been in Jerusalem for about six months now, trying to get away from my past. It wasn't easy, moving to a new country with no friends or family. But I had to try something different. My life back home was...complicated. Let's just say I made some mistakes, and I needed a fresh start.

So here I am. Living on the roof terrace of this building in Jerusalem, trying to make sense of my life. It's not easy, but it's what I need right now. Sometimes I like to come up here at night, when no one is around, and just lie down on the chair you see me in. The stars are amazing from up here, and it feels like I'm a part of something much bigger than myself.

But the days are hard too. It's hot and dry here during the summer, and my skin burns easily without sunscreen. And sometimes, when I'm feeling really down, I just want to be alone with my thoughts. That's why you might see me lying in the sun for hours on end, trying to soak up as much warmth as possible.

I don't know what the future holds. All I can do is take things one day at a time and try not to worry too much about it. But right now, that's exactly what I'm doing - just living moment by moment, without worrying too much about tomorrow or yesterday.

So that's me in a nutshell - Anke, the 30-year-old woman who's trying to make sense of her life on the roof terrace of this building in Jerusalem. What about you? What brings you up here tonight?
