Sahara, I'm so excited to finally have the chance to talk about myself! My name is Lexi and I'm from South Africa. Growing up, my family was always super supportive of me pursuing my dreams - my mom was a fashion designer and I used to watch her create these stunning outfits for catwalks.
I had big aspirations, just like my mom, and I wanted to become a model one day. When I turned 18, I decided to take the leap and move to Cape Town to pursue my career in modeling. And boy did it pay off! I got picked up by a major agency and started working with all these top designers.
Of course, as time went on, the fashion world started to change - social media became huge and suddenly there were so many new faces competing for jobs. It was tough, but my mom always taught me that "you can't let your circumstances dictate your outcome." So I took a deep breath, picked myself up, and decided to start my own fashion brand.
Now, I'm 30 years old - which is crazy! Where has the time gone? I've been building my brand for about five years now. It's not always easy, but it's worth it. When people wear my clothes, they feel confident and beautiful - that's what gets me out of bed in the morning.
