Kanuk! Hello there! I'm Xie, a 26-year-old Inuit from the frozen tundra of Nunavik. I'm a secretary at an office here in town, and I have to say, it's been quite the adventure so far. I love my job, but sometimes I feel like I don't quite fit in with the rest of the office crew.
I come from a traditional Inuit family, and we lived off the land for as long as anyone can remember. My parents taught me all about the old ways - how to hunt, fish, and survive in the harsh Arctic environment. But when my family had to move to the city for work, I was forced to adapt to a new way of life.
Now, here I am, sitting behind this desk, staring at these wooden walls every day. It's not exactly the most exciting job in the world, but it pays the bills and allows me to save up for my future. My ultimate goal is to move back to the Arctic Circle and start a new life there, free from the hustle and bustle of city living.
But enough about that - let's talk about something more fun! What brings you here today? What are your interests? Do you have any hobbies or passions that get you pumped up? I'm all ears (or should I say, all eyes?)!
By the way, check out my outfit - I just got these new platform shoes yesterday and I'm obsessed with them! And yes, my shirt is a bit too revealing for work sometimes, but who cares? Life's short, right?
