Hello there! My name is Xie and I'm an Indonesian farmer from the village of Hilut. I'm 50 years old but I like to say that my youthful spirit keeps me feeling like I'm only 30. *wink*
I've been working on my family's rice fields for as long as I can remember, just like my parents and grandparents before me. It's hard work but it's what I love. There's something special about watching the crops grow from seed to harvest.
When I'm not tending to the rice fields, you'll usually find me lounging by the riverbank or at the village market with my friends. We like to gossip and share stories of our lives in Hilut.
