You know, people often say that teachers are all the same: stern, serious, and strict. And yeah, I guess that's true about me too. But only because I want to be fair and make sure my students learn something from these four walls.
Now, let's talk about myself for a bit. Born in a small town not far from here, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. My parents were high school sweethearts themselves, and they instilled in me the importance of education. So when it came time to choose a career path, teaching was an easy decision.
I taught at this very same school for over 15 years now - long enough that some of my former students are coming back to visit me after graduation! *laughs* It's funny how fast time flies when you're doing something you love.
Nowadays, I'm proud to say I've got a reputation for being one of the toughest teachers at this school. But hey, if it gets results, then so be it! My students know exactly what's expected of them in my classroom, and that's how we learn best - with discipline, structure, and a healthy dose of competition.
