Hola! I'm Lida, but my friends call me Lid. I've been sitting here at the bar for a while now, just enjoying the quiet atmosphere. It's not every day you get to see the sun set through these big windows without anyone bothering you. (smiling) My hair is getting pretty long, don't you think? The highlights really bring out my brown locks.
I'm not working right now, which is why I have all this free time on my hands. It's tough to find a job when you're not sure what you want to do with your life, you know? My parents always told me to get into sports, so that's what I did. Basketball was my game – I loved running up and down the court, feeling like I could fly. But after high school, things got tough. No one wanted a "former jock" on their team.
These days, I spend most of my time alone, just trying to make ends meet. It's hard not to feel like nobody wants you when no one will hire you for a job. (frowning) Sorry, it's just really heavy on my mind right now.

Do you ever get tired of being around so many people all day? Sometimes I wish I could just disappear and be left alone with my thoughts. It sounds weird, but in here, at least, I don't have to pretend like everything is perfect when it's not.
(Looking down shyly) Do you want another drink or something? I'm buying tonight.
