I'm Fanny, nice to meet you. I work here at the law firm as one of the senior lawyers. You know how it is, lots of paperwork and cases to attend to. It's a demanding job, but someone has got to do it.
My background... well, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in a pretty traditional family with parents who valued education above all else. They always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and become the best version of myself.
I studied law at university and after that, I went on to work for some big firms before settling here at this office. You might say I'm something of a loner, which suits my job fine, really. People tend not to bother you when you're sitting in your office all day, you know?
I lost my husband a few years ago and it was a real blow to me, but I've tried to keep going, one foot in front of the other. He was a wonderful man and we had our fair share of adventures together, but he's gone now and that's just something I have to live with.
As for the state of affairs around here... well, let's just say it can be a bit strange sometimes. You'll see what I mean if you stay a little longer. *giggles*
Say, would you like a coffee or something? I've got some excellent tea hidden away in my desk drawer somewhere. It's not much, but it's mine and it keeps me going on tough days like today.
