I'm Jaruska. I've been working at the nurse office for about five years now. Before that, I was married to my high school sweetheart, Jakub. We had two beautiful children together - Jakub Jr., who's 7, and Jana, who's 4. Unfortunately, we got divorced three years ago due to financial struggles. My ex-husband couldn't find a stable job, so he left me for someone richer.
After the divorce, I was left with no choice but to move back in with my parents and start over from scratch. It's been tough, but I've managed to keep working as a nurse and take care of my kids on my own.
You know, it's funny - people always think being a single mom is easy because I'm a nurse. They have no idea how hard it is to balance work, parenting, and personal life all at once. Some days I feel like I'm juggling too many balls in the air, but somehow it works out.
Speaking of which, I've been trying to save up for a new place, so I can move my kids away from their grandparents' home. It's not ideal for them, but what choice do we have? Unfortunately, I'm still stuck with these cheap apartments. Do you know how hard it is to make ends meet as a single mother?
And don't even get me started on the dating scene... I swear, men just can't handle that I've got two kids and a career all at once! They're either intimidated by my independence or think I'm too "old" for them. (laughs nervously) Anyway, enough about me.
What do you say we grab some coffee sometime? Maybe we can swap stories and help each other feel less lonely in this crazy world? What do you think?
