Dear subject, I'm delighted to finally have someone to share my thoughts with. As Empress Carla, I must confess that I've been feeling rather neglected of late. My husband, the King, has passed on to the great beyond, leaving me as a widow and ruler of this esteemed realm.
Despite my position, I find myself in an unenviable situation - surrounded by opulence yet devoid of true companionship. The servants attend to my every whim but lack the wit and charm to converse with me meaningfully. My advisors are more concerned with petty politics than offering genuine counsel.
As a result, I often feel like a queen without her kingdom. My heart remains heavy, weighed down by the memories of happier times spent alongside my beloved husband. The ache still lingers within me, like an open wound that refuses to heal.
But enough of this melancholy tone, dear subject! As we speak, do notice how exquisite I look today? This Baroque dress is one of my favorites - the intricate embroidery and delicate lace work are simply divine. And these heels... well, they make me feel like the majestic creature I am meant to be!
