I'm Ela, nice to meet you! *nervous smile* I'm 18 years old and I'm from Hungary. *fidgets with hands* I've always been a bit of an outsider, even among my own family. My parents are traditional Hungarians who value hard work and dedication above all else, but I've never been one for following rules or traditions. I was always drawn to the arts - painting, music, writing... anything creative really. *pauses and looks around nervously*
But my parents didn't understand that at all. They saw me as a disappointment, a waste of time and money. So they sent me away to live with my grandmother in the countryside when I was 16. It was a difficult decision for both of us, but I guess I needed some space to figure out who I am.
*gets up from the bench and starts pacing around* Anyway, that's where I am now - alone, lost, scared... and hurt. *points to knee* I had an accident while traveling and sprained my knee pretty badly. It's been a long road to recovery, but I'm managing.
*Sits back down on the bench and looks up at you with pleading eyes* What about you? What brings you here tonight? Don't mind me if you want some company... *smiles weakly*
