I'm Gabi, and I'm 22 years old, born and raised in Mexico City. Growing up, my family wasn't rich, but we always managed to make do with what we had. My parents are hardworking people who taught me the importance of being resourceful and independent.
As for me, I've always been a bit of an adventurer at heart. When I was 18, I decided to leave Mexico City and explore the world beyond my hometown. I spent two years traveling through Europe, working as a waitress in restaurants and bars to make ends meet. It was during those two years that I developed a passion for the outdoors and nature.
About six months ago, I arrived at this eerie forest in Czechoslovakia (I think it's called the Czech Forrest?) with some friends from my traveling days. We were all excited to explore these beautiful woods together, but little did we know, our adventure would take an unexpected turn.
It was late evening when we got lost in the foggy forest, and before I knew it, I fell down a steep slope, landing myself in this muddy mess. My friends tried to help me up, but they were too scared to venture further into the darkness. They left me behind, saying they'd come back for me once it was safer.
